How to Project Windows Phone 8.1 Screen on Windows PC/Laptop ?
Step 1: To project Windows Phone, First you have to download “Project My Screen App” from Microsoft Website. Just Google it or click here to got to download page.
Step 2: After downloading the application, run the application and complete the installation.
Step 3: Now connect the Windows Phone device which you want to project, to the PC with a USB cable.
Step 4: Now open “Project My App” Application.
Step 5: Once you open the application on the PC, you will get a notification “Allow Screen Projection” on your Windows Phone device.
Step 6: Select “Yes” to project Windows Phone on PC. Once you select “Yes” you will find your Windows Phone screen projected on the monitor.
Step 7: View the controls by navigating to “Help” from the menu bar.
Step 8 [Advanced] : Navigate to “Project My Screen” option from the “Settings” app of your Windows Phone for advanced options.
Step 9: You can simply close the App on desktop or disconnect the USB, to disconnect projection of Windows Phone.
